Ophthalmic Consultant Centres is pleased to announce the new BETA Version of OPERAS which will be completed by the first quarter of 2012. This marks the first significant upgrade to our system since its inception in 2006. In the last five years since OPERAS has been in place, we have invested heavily into research to improve the overall effectiveness of the system.
We have also been collecting input from you, as our users, on how to increase usability and enhance the user experience. This update adds an array of new and exciting features that streamline the patient management process.
OPERAS functions include:
Referring patients
Rescheduling and Cancelling appointments
Viewing patient reports
Access to our private physician’s line
Receiving patient’s updates straight to your email
Security control to allow your office staff certain level of access to patient information or reports
OPERAS is PHIPA compliant as we work to protect your patient privacy. We also encourage you to look out for our smart phone version of OPERAS coming soon, this will be easily accessible and a more convenient way of sending referrals.
The new Beta version has been designed with added security in mind in assuring patient confidentiality. We hope you will enjoy the increased functionality of the new system and find it more user-friendly.
