New patients whose medical or surgical diseases match the expertise of our medical team are currently being welcomed into the Ophthalmic Consultant Center and the Canadian Center for Advanced Eye Therapeutics.

We recommend all patients be referred to our hospital through a practicing physician or optometrist licensed to practice in Canada. Referrals can be sent to us through email, fax and our online patient management system OPERAS. Should you feel the need to self-refer, please contact us regarding our self-referral program.

Once we have received a referral form, the speed at which the patient will be examined is based on several factors. These factors include the level of urgency to treat the medical disease, the availability of the patient and the availability of the doctor specializing in the treatment of the medical disease.
